Private Nine Mile Tour from Montego Bay

Enjoy a 2-hour scenic drive from Montego Bay along the north coast highway and through the mountains to the hometown of world renown king of reggae, Bob Marley. Arriving at the attraction, you will receive an armband before taking a flight of stairs up to the bar area to wait for your inhouse tour guide. The tour guide will do an introductory and lead you through a gift shop up a second flight of stairs to Bob's mother house to begin the 1-hour tour. 

The tour takes you from the house to a small room filled with memorabilia, his gold and platinum records along with a few artworks. Next is a stop for some entertainment where a live band will sing some of his popular songs and invite you to sing along. Your trip up to Mt Zion is next, where you will visit Bob's one room apartment he used to live in before going off to Kingston to kickstart his career, the two mausoleums where he and his mother is laid to rest, and gather around the famous rock stone he used for pillow when meditating to write some of his songs.

The tour guide will have a reasoning session with you and fill you in on Bob Marley's life before stardom, after stardom, his parents, children and grandchildren, and give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about him and his career. Your tour comes to an end after coming down from Mt. Zion. You will have the opportunity to do some shopping in the gift shop and to by lunch if you need to, before leaving out for the drive back to your hotel.
