About this activity

Explore Hvar Island's cultural gems and coastal beauty on a curated 5-hour private tour, visiting the historic Stari Grad with its 2,000-year-old heritage, the poet's fortress of Tvrdalj Castle, and the hilltop village of Vrisnik. End with panoramic views of Hvar town and the Pakleni Islands from a clifftop fortress, completing an intimate journey through Croatia's most storied island.

The Island of Hvar boasts a mild climate and lush subtropical vegetation.

Your coach takes you from Hvar town to Stari Grad, famous for its large bay, which has inspired artists and poets and dates back to the 2nd century BC. Visit to Tvrdalj castle, the fortified holiday house of  the Croatian poet Petar Hektorović with an ethnographic collection and a fishpond.

You will have some free time in the town before continuing your scenic ride towards the village of Vrisnik. Your friendly host will welcome you with dried figs followed by a cheese and wine tasting, made locally and produced only in small quantities.

Leaving Vrisnik, continue your ride to Hvar. A short stop will be made at the fortress above the island where we will enjoy the panoramic view of the town of Hvar and the Pakleni Islands before returning to Hvar town.
