This 8-hour guided adventure combines a 3-hour moderate hike with expert naturalist commentary, scenic breaks, and a packaged lunch in one of the country's most biodiverse coastal mountain reserves.
We start the service at 8.00am from the hotel departing to the Cordillera de la Costa where the La Campana National Park is located which has more than 8000 hectares near the city of Quilpué. A place with abundant flora and fauna and a beauty that attracts visitors. This place is the ancestral Chilean Palm tree discovered by Charles Darwin, outstanding English naturalist who investigated the evolution of the species and traveled the world.
At the moment of the arrival to the park a small introduction is made about the protection and security norms. This tour is ecological with little difficulty and of easy access.
The walk will be organized by the local guide who will take all the security guards in order to give you a vision of this magical place and beautiful colors, flowers, animals, birds and waterfalls decorate the park.
The trekking lasts about 3 hours and in the middle of the tour there will be a break, a box lunch will be given. Then there is a last stop where the client is given a beer. Finally we return to the hotel in Santiago.
Duration of the service: 8 hours.
Visit September–November (spring) for wildflower displays and comfortable hiking temperatures, or March–May (autumn) for mild weather and fewer crowds. Avoid December–February summer heat, which can be intense on exposed trails.
