About this activity

A 5-day immersive desert expedition from Marrakech crossing the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260m), traversing the Draa and Rosès valleys, and ending with a night under the stars in the Sahara. Experience authentic Berber culture, dramatic canyon landscapes, and a traditional camel trek combined in one unforgettable journey.

Crossing the spectacular Tizi n' Tichka pass (2260 meters high) the most beautiful valleys (Del Draa , Del Roses), gorges (Todra and Dades) and canyons will show you  the incredile variety of the colourful landscapes of Morocco.

You will also discover the typical Berber fortified houses and villages (Ait Ben Haddou..), experience the unforgettable sunrise, camel ride and night in the desert.

You can choose between three categories:

  • Tourist Category (MARRAKECH: Hotel Brenbrahim 3* / Hotel Meriem 4* or similar - DADES: Riad Ecobio – DESERT: Jaima (Standard Tent).
  • Comfort Category (MARRAKECH: Riad Africa / Riad Anya or similar) - DADES: Riad Ecobio - DESERT: Jaima (Luxe Tent)
  • Luxury Category (MARRAKECH: Riad la Maison Arabe 5*/ Hotel Atlas Medina 5* or similar) - DADES: Hotel Xaluca Dades 4* - DESERT: Jaima (Luxe Tent).

Main measures to comply with hygiene and cleaning requirements for the prevention and control against COVID – 19:

  • Sanitizing hand rub available in all our vehicles.
  • Protective face masks will be distributed to each passenger. Obligatory use of its during the trip.
  • Surfaces of the vehicule will be wiped with disinfectant after each use.

Best time to visit

October to April offers cooler temperatures ideal for trekking and camel riding; May–September can be extremely hot in the desert (40°C+). Sunrise and sunset are unmissable—plan photography time accordingly.
