At 8am, you will be picked up from your centrally located Guangzhou hotel, then take a private vehicle to Foshan. You will visit the Zu Temple firstly. Zu Temple, or The Temple of the Ancestors, dates originally from the second half of the 11th C, and was restored in 1372 following a fire. It is dedicated to the God of the North, Ruler of the Waters. Although the Chinese name ''Zumiao'' means ''Temple of the Ancestors'', this simply indicates that it is the oldest temple in town, "the ancestor of temples". The rich ceiling decoration with many figures is its most interesting feature. Sometimes you can see the lion dance here.

According to historical records, Foshan ceramic workshops formed in the Tang and Song dynasties, the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the most developed times, Shiwan ceramic in Foshan is the most well-known.

Taste some local food before heading to Liang Garden. Liang Garden was built originally in Qing Dynasty about 200 years ago by a rich family Liang, which were rebuilt in 1882. As one of the four renown gardens in Guangdong Province, Liang Garden is located in Foshan. There are nice bridges, houses, corridor, pool, man-made hills, and pavilions etc. in the garden, which are attractive to take photos.
