About this activity

A private 8-hour immersion into rural northern Chinese life, departing Xi'an to explore the authentically preserved Yuanjia Village. Dress in Han dynasty costumes, tour traditional cave dwellings, and sample local cuisine in one of Shaanxi's best-kept cultural villages.

At 8.30 am, your guide will meet you at your centrally located Xian hotel lobby, then take -hour car ride to Yuanjia Village in Liquan County. This is well-preserved old village with lots of shops selling different local food, snacks, souvenirs, and handcrafts etc. 

After the included lunch, you will have a Han Costume Class. Put on the traditional Chinese costume, and learn how to dress up properly, then take photos!

Visit the traditional Cave House, yaodong in Chinese. It is a unique architecture in Northern China. 

Later, you will be transferred back to your Xian hotel where the tour concludes.
