What makes the Blue Cave special, and when is the best time to visit it?

The Blue Cave's distinctive aquamarine glow is created by sunlight reflecting off white limestone and entering through underwater openings. The effect is strongest around midday when the sun is high; this tour is timed to capture that peak lighting. The surrounding Monk Seal Cave may also be visited if weather and schedules permit.

How many islands do we visit, and what can we do at each?

You visit five main islands: Biševo (Blue Cave), Vis (Komiza village and cave exploration including Stiniva Bay and the distinctive 'Lego Man Cave'), Budikovac or Smokova Bay (swimming and snorkeling), and Hvar (lunch and sightseeing of the town center and Fortica fortress). The Green Cave on Vis is an optional stop with a separate ticket.

Is the Green Cave visit included in the price?

No. The Green Cave stop is optional, and entry tickets are not included in the tour price. You'll decide on the day whether to visit based on your preference and group consensus.

Can we swim and snorkel during the tour?

Yes. You'll have dedicated swimming time at either Budikovac Island or Smokova Bay sand beach, where you can choose your preferred location. Snorkeling is possible in these areas; confirm equipment availability or bring your own.

Is lunch included, and what are the costs?

Lunch is not included. You'll have a lunch break in Hvar where you can dine at local restaurants at your own expense. Budget accordingly for meals.

What if weather is bad or seas are rough?

Some stops, particularly cave visits (Monk Seal Cave, Green Cave) and certain coves, are weather and tide dependent. The tour operator will adjust the itinerary based on conditions on the day; flexibility is essential. Rough seas may affect comfort and access to smaller caves.

Explore Croatia's most dramatic coastal landscapes on this 10-hour private boat tour combining the luminous Blue Cave of Biševo with island-hopping across the Dalmatian archipelago. After meeting you at a prearranged location, you will start your tour traveling to
the small island of Bisevo and experience the hidden Blue cave. The Blue cave
is one of the best known natural beauties on the Adriatic sea . This is the
best time of the day to see all magic playing between sun and this cave. While
sunlight reflects through the water coming from the white floor of the cave and
bathes the cave in aquamarine light, objects in the water appear to be
silver(if weather and timetable allow us we will visit Monk seal cave). After
Blue cave, the next stop of this tour is nice fisherman's place, Komiza on the
island of Vis. After a pleasant sightseeing in Komiza we will take you to
Stiniva bay for sightseeing but on the way we will stop to check nice small
caves on south side of Vis and hidden "Lego man cave". This
uncommon shaped cove makes this place unique.

Your next visit is at the Green cave, a big cave which is characteristic because of the
sun light coming through a hole on the cave's top, spreading sparkling green
light on the sea inside, along the bottom, and walls(stop on this
location is not mandatory and tickets are not included, it is up to you to
decide)

Onward to swimming time on Budikovac Island or Smokova bay sand beach(guest chooses which
location). After your experiences on Vis, continue on to
Hvar island for a lunch break and sightseeing of town center and
Fortica fortress. With all the impressions that you got on this tour we are
ready to return back toward Split.
