Take a 2-hour guided tour of the Appleton Estate Rum Factory and discover the secret of how the estate produce such great quality rums, sample byproducts of sugarcane, see the old operating process and compare the new aged of the operation. Take a quick tour of the factory in operation and tour the ageing house before you sample 3 different rums and learn how to identify their different properties, then end your tour with a shopping experience in the gift shop.

A 45-minute drive from the Appleton Estate takes you to the town of Black River for an up-close experience with nature and one of the most diverse eco system in Jamaica, the Black River Safari. Experience a 1-hour boat ride on the longest navigable river in Jamaica to see the friendly crocodiles in their natural habitat. Capture the moments when your boat captain calls them by their names and they swim up to the side of the boat for him to pet them and feed them.

Explore the river with over 100 different species of other animals, plants, birds, fishes and other wildlife. After the boat trip, visit the nursery and see the baby crocs. You can hold them while you get your pictures taken. Entrance fee to both attractions included.
