Insider tips

  • Dawn game drives yield the best wildlife activity and light for photography—request early starts with your guide
  • Mzima Springs offers a rare underwater viewing platform; bring binoculars for close-up hippo and bird watching
  • Tsavo East's remote northeast sector sees fewer tourists; ask your guide to prioritise this for solitude and red elephant sightings
  • Pack neutral earth-toned clothing to blend into the landscape and avoid startling animals during drives

Good to know

  • Private transport throughout; hotel pickups from Nairobi included
  • All meals, park fees, and accommodation included in quoted price
  • Roads are unpaved in park interiors—expect dust and bumpy terrain; sedan transfers not suitable
  • Bring sun protection (SPF 50+), a wide-brimmed hat, lightweight long sleeves, and binoculars
