Paddle through Phang Nga Bay's dramatic limestone landscape on a full-day sea kayak adventure, exploring hidden lagoons (Hongs), sea caves, and pristine beaches that few tourists reach. This UNESCO-listed marine park offers some of Thailand's most striking scenery, with the option to photograph the famous James Bond Island without the crowds.
Kayak through the stunning scenery of Phang Nga Bay during this full day trip from Phuket. This national marine park is covered with dozens of islands, towering limestone cliffs and caves of all shapes and sizes. With your skilled kayak guide you will discover landscapes that are some of the world's most dramatic and beautiful.
No visit to Thailand should be without a full day tour out into the beautiful seas of Phang Nga Bay.
Phang Nga Bay was made famous to the world due to the 1974 James Bond movie, The Man with a Golden Gun. (This tour will only pass by James Bond Island so you can take some photos, as it is always incredibly crowded). But you will stop to explore the newly discovered sea caves and 'Hongs' which are absolutely spectacular and a true sight to behold! (Hong is the Thai word for room). These Hongs are open-air cliff-lined cylindrical tidal lagoons connected to the outside world only through stalactite-filled tunnels which were undiscovered until the spring of 1990. It is here that the inflatable canoes will be used, with two people per canoe sitting in the front admiring the scenery in comfort whilst a guide sits at the rear and does all the paddling.
Of course, there are many secluded beaches here and this trip would not be complete without visiting one for swimming.
The buffet lunch served onboard the boat includes a variety of Thai options (but nothing too spicy) plus fruit. The tour also includes Return Phuket Hotel Transfers for your convenience.
Visit October to May for calm seas and clear skies; avoid June–September monsoon season when water conditions are rough. Early morning (7–9 a.m. departures) offers the best light and fewest crowds.
