About this activity

Trek into Serra da Bocaína National Park to discover Melancia Waterfall, a remote and dramatic cascade set deep within protected Atlantic Forest. This technical yet manageable 3km trail rewards hikers with two distinct swimming pools and unfiltered nature immersion, making it one of the region's most scenic waterfall experiences.

Located in National Park "Serra da Bocaína" , this waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region, located 25km from the entrance to Paraty.

The trail that gives access is very technical, despite not being too steep or too long, it is approximately 3km, covered in 2 hours at a leisurely pace through the protected forest.

We will can watch a lush flora and many birds, we will reach the first fall and at the site of our first bath, where we will have a splendid view of the magnitude of this waterfall.

We will can contemplate, relax a little for the follow another 15 minutes of walking to the second fall, from where, in addition to bathing in crystal clear water, we have our lunch and rest for the return trip.
