Insider tips

  • Book sunset tours in advance—the golden light over the dunes and beach is the photography sweet spot, especially for coastal backdrops near Meloneras.
  • Arrive 10–15 minutes early to familiarise yourself with the scooter's acceleration and braking; prior riding experience is required.
  • Wear lightweight, breathable clothing and apply sunscreen before departure; the Atlantic wind feels cooler than it is, and reflection off sand intensifies UV exposure.
  • Ask your guide about the history of the oasis and the contrast between the dunes and developed resort zones—locals often know quieter viewpoints away from crowds.

  • Minimum age: 15 years with AM or B driving licence to operate (accompanied by paying parent); passengers aged 7–17, seniors 60–70, or unlicensed adults can ride on the rear seat. Under 7 or over 70 not permitted.
  • Scooters are street-legal only; no riding on sand, within dunes, or off-road terrain.
  • Prior e-scooter experience is mandatory; inexperienced riders should arrange a briefing.
