About this activity

A full-day immersion into western Georgia's mythological heartland, combining the dramatic Martvili Canyon with the underground wonders of Prometheus Cave and the historic city of Kutaisi. Early in the morning, at 7: o'clock we will start the journey to western Georgia 220 km. We are crossing Rikotski Pass and Kutaisi is waiting for us soon. We are in the Kolkheti lowlands, covered with many legends. Here the Argonauts under the command of Jason stole the golden fleece, here in the surrounding mountains Prometheus was riding on a rock, here is the land of the eminent warriors of antiquity, here amazing events took place.
