Explore Marrakech's atmospheric Medina with a knowledgeable local guide on this 4-hour walking tour, uncovering centuries of Islamic architecture, royal palaces, and bustling cultural landmarks. This intimate experience captures the sensory richness of Morocco's most enchanting city—its colors, spices, and hidden corners—away from generic bus tours.

Is there a better way to discover Marrakech than a walk along its Medina? In this tour we will know the centre of Marrakech and its most important monuments with a local guide, who will give us detailed information of the cultural and historical
legacy of Marrakech.

Marrakech is an exceptional city, mystique and stunning city, completely different to other cities. That´s why visiting Marrakech will be a fascinating sensory experience due to the mixture of its colours, its flavours and smells that we will feel from the
first moment.

In addition, for those adventurers that want more, Marrakech is also a perfect place to start new trips to sites like Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Ourzoud Cascades and Ourika Valley.

ITINERARY

The route will start about 9:30 am in the Med Club, which is the meeting point, between Jemaa el Fna Square and the Koutoubia, or at your hotel or riad. Later on we will be focused on our visit to the city.

Once in the old town, two historic places that should be mentioned are Jemaa el Fna Square, the focal point of the city, and the sixteen century Saadian Tombs, that were built during the Ahmad al-Mansur Sultan´s time.

Along our way, we will see the most relevant and attractive monuments of the Medina, like the nineteen century Bahia Palace, built by the best artisans of that period, the Koutobia Mosque and the Ben Youssef Madrasa, the old koranic collegue and one of the essential visits in Marrakech. This walk will leave us in the narrow streets of the famous moroccan souks and in the Menara Gardens.

The tour will finish about 2pm in Jemaa el Fna Square, where our guide will give us good advices for the rest of our stay in Marrakech.
