About this activity

Master the art of making authentic French macarons in a intimate Parisian apartment with an expert pastry chef. In just 3 hours, you'll learn to craft these delicate almond-based confections from scratch, select two flavours to specialise in, and leave with your homemade creations plus a recipe to recreate them at home.

Macarons - trendy and irresistibly delicious, this iconic French treat is more popular than ever. While they may seem impossible to make, this class is designed to show you how to prepare them from scratch, using simple ingredients and techniques. These almond-based cakes can be infused with a variety of flavors, and with the help of an expert chef in their Parisian apartment, you'll prepare 2 flavors during your class. The class only allows 8 people maximum to ensure a more intimate experience and to offer everyone a chance to participate. With the rest of your group and your chef, you'll choose two of the following flavors:

  • Chocolate and cocoa
  • Lemon
  • Raspberry with tonka bean
  • Coconut with milk chocolate
  • Coffee

At the end of the class, your chef will provide you with a box to take your macarons with you (if you haven't already eaten all of them, that is!). You'll also receive a copy of the recipe so that you can make tasty macarons back home.
