Stadhuisplein in Leiden is the starting point, in the middle of the old town. The route leads from there up to the Burcht, the round fort on its mound, then along the canals to the Pieterskerk and out towards Molen De Valk. It is a self-guided detective game, and everything you need to solve it is out in the streets.
The game is built for families with children, groups of friends, couples and colleagues, and one player on their own manages it just as well. A team is up to four people sharing one phone, so a party of ten splits into three teams and compares results afterwards. Leiden is small and flat, with a lot of bridges and a short climb up to the Burcht, and since no guide is waiting on you, your pace is your own.
