About this activity

A full-day journey through Portugal's most sacred and medieval treasures, combining spiritual immersion at the Sanctuary of Fátima with a step back in time in the walled village of Óbidos. Visit the working rosary factory, attend mass with the option to meet a 102-year-old member of the apparition family, and explore centuries-old stone streets topped with local ginginha liqueur.

In Fatima, we will visit the interior of the Factory, where the images and the rosaries of Fatima are handmade.
Then we'll go to the Sanctuary, and attend a mass, so we can bless all the images, rosaries and\or souvenirs that you bought at the Factory.
Then we will visit the home of the children that witness the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima in 1917, and if possible (if we are lucky), we will take a picture and be blessed by Lucia's niece, Maria dos Anjos, who is now 102 years old.
After Fatima, we will have lunch in a buffet local restaurant, well known for it's buffet of Portuguese food.
After lunch, we will visit the incredible medieval village of Óbidos, where you can try the delicious liquor ginginha, before returning to Lisbon
