About this activity

The Go Rome Explorer Pass bundles admission to Rome's most iconic landmarks—from the Colosseum to the Sistine Chapel—into a single flexible pass, letting you skip ticket lines and save up to 47% on entry fees. Choose between 2–7 attractions from a curated list of 25+ sites, activating your pass on your first visit and using it for up to 60 days.

Explore Rome’s top attractions and get up to 47% off admission with the Go Rome Explorer pass.

Choose 3, 4 or 6 activities from a list of over 25 popular attractions and tours. Go on a tour of the Colosseum, admire the art at the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums, hop on and off a Big Bus tour, or eat like a local with an authentic Italian set menu lunch.

Pass holders also get a digital guidebook to help plan your itinerary as you go.

The Go Rome Explorer pass includes:

  • Admission to your choice of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 attractions or tours
  • Top attractions including the Colosseum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica.
  • Fully digital pass and guidebook - use on a mobile device or download and print at home.
  • Valid for 60 days from first attraction visit.

How it works:

  • Pick a 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 Choice Pass.
  • Download your Go Rome Explorer pass onto the Go City mobile app and use it right from your phone. Alternatively, you can print your pass at home from your confirmation email.
  • Once you have your pass, you're all set. All you have to do is present your Go Rome pass to be scanned at each attraction and you're in. Visit your top 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 attractions easily – there's no need to pay at the gate, they’re all included.
  • You'll be able to visit any of the included attractions. There's no need to select the attractions before you buy your pass, you can choose after purchase.
  • Visiting your first attraction activates your pass. Your pass will then be valid for 60 days from activation. For example, if you have a 3-Choice Explorer pass and visit your first attraction, you can take up to 59 consecutive days to visit your remaining two attractions.
  • Each Rome pass is subject to a purse value which is based on the duration of the pass. The purse value is the maximum amount you can use based on the standard gate price for each attraction.

Highlights

  • Skip-the-line access to major attractions including the Colosseum, Vatican Museums, and St. Peter's Basilica
  • Flexible multi-attraction packages (2–7 sites) with savings up to 47% versus individual tickets
  • Choose attractions after purchase—no need to commit upfront
  • Fully digital pass delivered via app or printable at home
  • Included digital guidebook to plan your itinerary
  • Big Bus Hop-On-Hop-Off tour option available within the pass

Insider tips

  • Activate your pass at your first attraction strategically—save big-draw sites (Colosseum, Vatican Museums) for mid-week morning visits when queues are shorter
  • Use the Go City mobile app to download your pass offline; mobile entry scans faster than printed copies at busy sites
  • Combine the pass with the Big Bus tour to orientate yourself on Day 1, then focus on must-see museums and galleries on subsequent days
  • Your 60-day validity window begins only when you visit your first attraction, so purchase weeks ahead if planning a return trip to Rome

Good to know

  • Pass is fully digital (mobile app or printable); bring your phone or printed confirmation to each attraction
  • No pre-selection required—browse the 25+ eligible attractions and decide your itinerary after purchase
  • Valid for 60 days from your first use; ideal for visitors planning multiple Rome trips or flexible travel schedules
  • Some attractions (e.g., Vatican Museums) may have separate queues for pass holders; allow 15–30 mins extra time despite skip-the-line benefits
  • An Italian set-menu lunch is included with certain pass tiers; confirm which restaurants/timings apply to your tier at purchase
