About this activity

The Go Boston Explorer Pass is a flexible multi-attraction ticket covering 20+ top Boston attractions—from the New England Aquarium and Fenway Park to Duck Tours and harbour cruises—valid for 60 days after first use. Choose 2, 3, 4, or 5 activities and save up to 40% compared to buying individual tickets.

Go City gives you the freedom to do what you want when you want. Choose 2, 3, 4, or 5 top Boston attractions and explore at your own pace - you'll have 60 days to use your Explorer Pass.

With a list of 20+ hand-picked activities and tours to choose from, you'll save up to 40% when discovering the best of Boston. Hop on-board an entertaining guided Boston Duck Tour, discover incredible wildlife at New England Aquarium, visit the home of the legendary Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park stadium, or join a sightseeing cruise around Boston harbor - this pass is perfect if you want to tick a few firm favorites off your bucket list.

The Go Boston Explorer pass includes:

  • Choice of 2, 3, 4, or 5 activities
  • Boston's top attractions and tours
  • Digital pass and city guide - download to your mobile device or print at home

How it works:

  • Pick a 2,3,4 or 5 choice pass.
  • Download your Go Boston Explorer pass onto the Go City mobile app and use it right from your phone. Alternatively, you can print your pass at home from your confirmation email.
  • Once you have your pass, you're all set. All you have to do is present your Go Boston Explorer pass to be scanned at each attraction and you're in.
  • Visit your top 2, 3, 4, or 5 attractions easily – there's no need to pay at the gate, they’re all included.
  • Visiting your first attraction activates your pass. Your pass will then be valid for 60 days after activation. For example, if you have a three-choice Explorer pass and visit your first attraction, you'll have the next 59 days to visit your remaining two attractions.
  • There is no need to choose which attractions you'd like to see before you purchase the card, you can pick and choose any of the Explorer attractions as you go. This allows you to change your mind and wait and see what you feel like in the moment.

Insider tips

  • Activate your pass at a lower-priority attraction first to maximise flexibility for busy sites (Fenway Park, Aquarium) later in your 60-day window
  • Download the Go City app before arrival to browse all 20+ included attractions and plan your route efficiently
  • Pair your pass with a city map or public transport pass—most attractions are walkable or easily reached by T (Boston's subway)
  • Book popular timed-entry attractions (Fenway stadium tours, Duck Tours) a day or two in advance to avoid sellouts, even with your pass

Good to know

  • Pass activates on first use; you have 60 calendar days from that date to use remaining credits—plan your first visit strategically
  • Digital pass delivered via mobile app or email; print backup recommended but not required
  • Each attraction scans your pass once per visit; no double-counting across visits
  • Most Boston attractions are accessible via public transport; check individual venue accessibility on their websites before visiting
  • Off-season (Nov–Mar) and weekday visits typically have shorter queues and more flexible booking availability
