About this activity

Enjoy this fun day full of activities at the Happy Fox forest farm by the Ounasjoki river – a real experience for the whole family. We’ll also put on our snowshoes for a short walk in the surroundings to admire the winter and nature of Lapland.

The first part of the trip includes winter games of one’s choice, such as kick sledging, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobile sleigh riding. Gliding in a slide made of snow will be fun for all.

The second part of the trip consists of a short sledging trip and ice fishing on the Ounasjoki river. We hope to be favoured by Ahti, the Finnish god of fishing and catch some prey.

In additional order, your kids can drive with youth snowmobile on our forest farm. Self-riding is suitable for children up to 6 - 12 years.

During the day we’ll cook sausages and enjoy some juice and campfire coffee or tea.
