About this activity

Trade Dubai's skyscrapers for golden dunes on this 6-hour desert immersion combining adrenaline-fueled 4x4 driving, camel riding, and Bedouin hospitality. Watch the desert transform at sunset while enjoying traditional Arabic coffee, shisha, and a live belly dance performance capped by a barbecue dinner.

Your 6-hour safari begins with an hour's drive from Dubai to the desert in a luxury 4x4 jeep.

Enjoy the ride across magnificent sand dunes and stop to take in the changing colors of the dunes as the sun sets. Continue on your way to a Bedouin campsite, where you’ll have the opportunity to take a short camel ride.

Afterwards you’ll be shown to your reserved seat, to relax and enjoy the camp facilities. Try smoking shishas (water pipes) in different flavors, accompanied by gahoua (Arabic coffee with cardamom).

Savor the tastes of a variety of dishes during a barbecue buffet dinner before enjoying a fascinating belly dance performance.

As your day in the desert ends, you’ll head back to your Dubai accommodation with plenty of memories to share with family and friends.

Insider tips

  • Arrive early in your pickup window to secure better vehicle positioning for dune drives and photo opportunities
  • Bring a light scarf or pashmina—desert winds pick up at sunset and sand can be abrasive

  • Request a seat closer to the performance stage during camp arrival if live entertainment is a priority

Good to know

  • 1-hour transfer from Dubai included; confirm exact pickup location at hotel/accommodation during booking
  • Casual, comfortable clothing recommended; closed-toe shoes essential for dune activities
