Is this a real Sahara desert experience or different?

Agafay is Morocco's rocky desert with dramatic hills and High Atlas views—quite different from sand-dune Sahara tours further south. It's closer to Marrakesh, less touristy, and offers a more intimate, scenic ride through a unique landscape.

Do I need prior camel-riding experience?

No. Your private driver and local handlers will guide you through the entire process. Camels are well-trained for tourists, and the pacing is relaxed. Children and first-time riders are welcome with handler support.

What's included in the half-day tour?

Private driver transportation from your hotel, camel ride through the desert, and a traditional Berber home visit with freshly made mint tea and authentic Moroccan snacks. Hotel pickup and drop-off are standard.

How long is the actual camel ride?

our guide Giulia was brilliant and the camel ride into the sunset was the highlight. Did it on our first morning so it wasnt too busy. Miles ahead of a similar desert trip we tried in dubrovnik, and worked great for a solo traveller like me, and quad bikes for an hour first. Would book again no question.
