This Discover Scuba Diving experience is for anyone who wants to try scuba diving in calm, personalised conditions. The activity is fully private: you are with your dedicated instructor, with no other participants. Allow 2 hours 30 in total.
On arrival we fill in the diving paperwork together, including the medical questionnaire. Then comes a full briefing: equipment, breathing, equalising, hand signals. You first get comfortable in shallow water, then we head out to explore the reef at your own pace.
Entry is from the beach, with no boat, which takes a lot of the stress out of a first time. Our schedule is deliberately built to give everyone all the time they need: no racing against the clock. Photos and video of your dive are yours at the end of the session.
Our dives are designed to have as little impact as possible on the reef. Every dive is filmed, so you leave with real images of your dive. Those images also work for the reef: turtle sightings go to Sea Turtle Conservation Curacao, and our species observations are logged on iNaturalist, where researchers can use them. Guiding in English, French or Spanish: these are the only languages we speak on site.
For operational reasons, the actual start time may vary by up to 30 minutes either side of the scheduled time. We confirm the exact time with you after booking.
