Walking tours cover on average 3-5 km and are the best way to discover hidden gems.
The excursion has its starting point from the hotels. We begin by knowing La Mision neighborhood, which was the first settlement of the Anglican priests. Today is a military neighborhood. Then we continue the route to the CADIC roundabout where the Austral Center for Scientific Research is located and we return to the Naval Prefecture Avenue (avenue of the coast), continuing along the Perito Moreno Avenue, we pass in front of the Paseo del Fuego Shopping, an important commercial center from the city. Later, we arrive at the industrial sector, which began its activity in 1972 according to law 19640, representing one of the main sources of income in the province. From there, we will go to the so-called Rotonda del Indio, entrance to the city of Ushuaia, and we will return by Héroes de Malvinas street, making a stop at Mirador La Colina, one of the most impressive panoramic points of the city.
We continue, going up Avenida Alem until we reach the viewpoint of Las Hayas Hotel, another important panoramic point, which gives us excellent landscapes. Later we go down the 12 de Octubre street until we return to the Naval Prefecture avenue that leads us to the old Cemetery, where we will make a small historical review of the Ancient Villagers who rest in that place.
Then we arrive at San Martín street, the main avenue of the city, where you will find most of the restaurants and commercial stores. Then, we go to Deloqui Street where we can appreciate the houses of the Old Villagers. We continue to the roundabout of the Maritime Museum and the Presidio and from there, to the Museum of the End of the World, in Maipú street, where the excursion ends.
