Doi Suthep Downhill Mountain Biking Adventure – Ride from Summit to Lake!

Get ready for Chiang Mai’s most thrilling mountain bike experience! This epic ride takes you from the summit of Doi Suthep National Park (1,550m) all the way down to the peaceful shores of Lake Huay Tueng Thao (370m) — over 20km of off-road, jungle-lined jeep tracks, passing hill tribe villages, highland plantations, and breathtaking viewpoints.

After hotel pickup at 9:30 AM, we’ll head to our downtown adventure base to gear up with bikes, helmets, gloves, and expert advice. A 45-minute scenic shuttle takes you up the mountain, where your guide will run a full safety and skills briefing before the fun begins.

From there, it’s all about the descent— flowing tracks beneath dense forest canopies, cool mountain air, and peaceful paths with virtually no traffic. Stop at a hilltop coffee hut to soak in the views, and meet the friendly Hmong hill tribe people as you pass through their village.

The highlight? A 2-hour ride down from summit to valley, with thrills, nature, and culture all in one.

At the bottom, reward yourself with a delicious Thai lunch by the lake — and if you're up for it, enjoy a refreshing swim with a view.

Finally, we’ll return to Chiang Mai by truck, arriving around 4 PM (though, in true adventure style — we never rush the ride).
