About this activity

Combine art history and Provençal wine in this full-day excursion from Marseille, exploring Aix-en-Provence's baroque architecture and fountains before diving into Cézanne's creative world at his restored studio. Conclude with contemporary art, vineyard views, and a wine tasting at Château Lacoste.

We will start our day with a visit of the city center of Aix-en-Provence, its fountains, its mansions and the Saint Sauveur Cathedral (1h30). We will then leave for an immersion in the world of the painter Cézanne with the visit of his studio (ticket not included 6,5 euros). Passing through "the painters' field" and "the portal of Cézanne". The ideal place for a picnic in the heart of the famous painter's Provence. After having filled up with energy, it is towards the Château Lacoste that we will continue on our way and where we will enjoy the various exhibitions of contemporary art, a visit of the vineyards and a wine tasting to end this day in beauty! Possible stops will be possible in Aix (city centre), depending on the timing, in some shops selling local products (Puyricard chocolate factory, olive oil, confectionery, lavender).
