Russian occupation of Warsaw in the XIXth century, two World Wars in the XXth century, signs of them are still out there for us to find.

The XIXth century factories and production facilities are now converted into post-industrial neighborhoods with plenty of lofts, restaurants, and museums and that brings a wind of change to sometimes dilapidated yet still beautiful premises. Last but not least are the communist times and pieces of architecture.

Former communist party headquarters, former propaganda dept. with a monument dedicated to freedom of speech opened just a few years ago, not to forget the momentous, Gotham City style Palace of Culture and Science all these places are still here to be discovered.
