Argolis - Rich in History and Ancient Myths

After enjoying your reakfast at your hotel, you will meet our guide and enjoy the day exploring the natural and historical wealth of the Argolida area. 

Departing from Athens via the coastal road to the Corinth Canal (a brief photo stop). Then, we will head to the ancient theater of Epidaurus (4th century BC) famous for its exceptional acoustics. 

After that, we will visit the city of Nafplion, decorated with the Palamidi Fortress (brief photo stop). Palamidi Fortress is one of the most photographed places in Greece and Nafplion is a very famous destination among the Greeks and the visitors.

Next, we will go to Mycenae to visit the tomb of Agamemnon and the archaeological site of the Lions Gate, the Cyclopean walls and the royal tombs. Lunch will be served at the restaurant in Mycenae. 

After lunch, return to Athens. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
