About this activity

Combine Antalya's natural and historical highlights in a single 7-hour day: explore two spectacular waterfalls (including a 30-metre cascade and a walk-through cave), cruise the turquoise coast from the old harbour, and wander the 2nd-century Roman streets of Kaleici with its Ottoman-era landmarks. This is the most efficient way to see both the region's dramatic landscape and its best-preserved historic quarter.

Your full-day Antalya City and Waterfalls Tour begins at around 08:30 AM with a drive to the Duden Waterfalls National Park.

Take a walk through the beautiful park and take in views of the spectacular 15-meter-high Duden Waterfall. Behind the waterfall is a natural cave you can enter to watch the cascades.

Back in Antalya, you’ll enjoy a 1-hour boat trip from the old harbor to the spectacular Karpuzkaldiran Waterfall, also known as the Lower Duden Waterfall. At 30 meters, it is the highest cascade in the Antalya region. You’ll have views of the coastline of Antalya’s old city as you arrive in the harbor.

Take a break for lunch at a local restaurant followed by some free time to explore Kaleici – the old city. See the main attractions, including Hadrian’s Gate, the Clock Tower, Kesik Minare and the city walls dating back to the 2nd century. You’ll also have time to visit some of the numerous boutiques, art galleries and interesting museums in the old town.

Highlights

  • Walk behind a 15-metre waterfall into a natural cave at Duden Waterfalls National Park
  • Boat trip to Karpuzkaldiran (Lower Duden) Waterfall – the tallest cascade in the region at 30 metres
  • Scenic harbour cruise with views of Antalya's old city coastline
  • Explore Kaleici's 2nd-century Roman walls, Hadrian's Gate, and Ottoman Clock Tower

Insider tips

  • Bring swimwear and waterproof bag for the boat trip – spray from the 30-metre waterfall can be intense and refreshing
  • Visit Kaleici's smaller alleyways in the late afternoon when tour groups thin out; the light is also ideal for photography
  • Arrive early at the harbour (around 13:00) if you want first pick of lunch spots before the free-time rush

Good to know

  • 7-hour tour starts approximately 08:30 AM; bring sun protection, comfortable walking shoes, and a light jacket for air-conditioned transport
  • Lunch is not included; the break is at a local restaurant (budget accordingly)
  • Boat trip duration is 1 hour; if you have mobility concerns, confirm accessibility of the harbour entry and boat steps in advance
  • Free time in Kaleici allows exploration but is not guided – pick up a map at the meeting point
