About this activity

This arts & culture is one of the standout things to do in Phuket, Thailand. Rated 4.3/5 by 3 travellers, it combines the highlights below into a single, easy-to-book experience from €45 per person. This is the perfect way to be introduced to Phukets' well-known landmarks, those iconic beaches, and much more in just half a day.

This tour is particularly useful to newcomers to Phuket wanting to get their bearings and the self-confidence required to ensure a fantastic holiday.

Two tours a day offer two different routes, giving you more flexibility to enjoy the tour you way you want. As expected on an introductory tour of Phuket you will come across the most popular sun-drenched beaches, the largest Buddhist temple on the island and see one of the biggest sources of income for Phuket. You personal tastes will play a deciding factor in how you will see Phuket Old Town, the beaches of Kata, Kata Noi and Karon, Promthep Cape (and maybe even the biggest gem factory in the world?).

This MORNING ROUTE that will take you to see Patong Beach, the island's most popular beach, up to Karon Viewpoint and an incredible panoramic spectacle of 3 beaches—Kata, Kata Noi, and Karon. Then its onto Wat Cholong, one of the most venerated temples in Phuket. Admire the beautiful designs of Siamese architecture, and observe the practices of local Buddhist culture.

A further stop will be made so you can admire the magnificent statue of the island's Big Buddha. This is one of the most important and revered landmarks on the island and is highly recommended! The large Buddha statue sits on top of the Hill between Chalong and Kata and, at 45 metres tall, can be seen for miles. The views are simply amazing!

Lastly, head back to Phuket Town. Pop into a cashew factory to learn about one of the Phuket's biggest sources of income then taste and shop for nutty souvenirs if you want before cruising through the streets of Phuket Old Town to admire the well-preserved and historic Sino-Portuguese architecture of the city. Your outing ends at a Souvenir Shop where you can opt to stay to enjoy its favours before hopping on a bus to be dropped off back at your hotel.

We offer this tour daily from 08.30am on shared and private.

Best time to visit

Phuket is rewarding year-round, but spring and early autumn typically bring the most comfortable temperatures and thinner crowds than peak summer. Morning departures tend to be quieter and cooler; booking ahead is recommended in high season as popular arts & culture slots in Phuket sell out.
