The trail begins on Canadaplein in Alkmaar, beside the Stedelijk Museum, and runs straight into the old centre. From there it crosses the canals towards the Grote Sint-Laurenskerk, then follows the lanes down to De Waag. It is a self-guided murder mystery game in which the streets of Alkmaar serve as the crime scene.
