<p>Our day starts driving along the coastal road passing the resort city of Georgioupolis which is known for its unique beaches and the fertile lands. </p>

<p>Next, we will drive to Souda port of Chania. Our stop there will give us the chance to guide you to the Principal Allied War Cemetery which was designed by architect Louis de Soissons. Then we will visit one of the most important monuments of Chania, the graves of Venizelos family. Oene of them , Elefterios Venizelos, was a long-standing prime minister of Greece. The monument is locatd at Profitis Ilias in Akrotiri and the view from there is breathtaking. After that we will go to Chania city for a short visit before we depart for Rethimno.</p>

<p> In Rethimno we will visit the citadel of the city which is called &#34;Fortezza&#34;. It was built by the Venetians in the 16th century (1573) to protect the city and was captured by the Ottomans in 1646. By the early 20th century many houses were built within the citadel. It is located in a high spot , so you will have the chance to take amazing photos too. Next we will go to Rethimno city to have lunch and rest before we visit Heraklio. </p>

<p>There, we will visit the archaeological site of Knossos which is one of the most remarkable sites in Greece. There is situated the palace of King Minos , who ruled and built a dynasty in 1900 B.C. The minoan civilization ,that was written in history as one of the most important civilizations, is captured in the drawings on the walls, in the objects that still remain there and in the architecture of the whole site. The excavation of Knosson began in 1900 A.D. by the English archaeologist Sir Arthur Evans and his team and they continued for 35 years. There you will also have the chance to admire the beautiful nature and the green with a variety of trees , flowers and plants.</p>
