A Fascinating Private Cruise to Poseidon Temple of Sounio Athens with Snorkeling and Swimming

<p>The private round-trip tour starts with a pickup in our air-conditioned mini-van from your hotel in Athens to Lagonissi, where you will board the rib boat. While your captain sails the boat passing the stunning coast line of Attica, sit back and relax or simply soak up the sun. </p>

<p>Our boat is a 32f/10m RIB with a 300HP engine. It is fast (max speed 41 knots), and the safest boat someone can use. There is always a 2-man crew on-board that are diving and first-aid instructors. A 6 square meter tent will provide enough shade, and there are enough couches to fit comfortably the passengers.</p>

<p>We head to Arsida and Pothitos, Fleves or Patroklos - small uninhabited islands with remote sandy beaches, where you can swim, snorkel, or just relax. At Arsida Island you will have the chance to snorkel and swim in its cave. We will show you the magnificent sea-world of Athens, one of the safest seas in the world without dangerous marine life and strong currents. </p>

After enjoying the sun and the sea, we board the rib and head to Sounio and the Poseidon temple. There you will explore the ruins and admire the stunning views. Cape Sounio is noted as the site of the ruins of the ancient temple of Poseidon, the god of the sea in classical mythology. The remains are perched on the headland, surrounded on three sides by the sea. </p>
