This tour in the Icelandic countryside takes 1 hour. The tour is ideal for families, groups and guests travelling with their own car, who want a small taste of the Icelandic horse’s qualities and experience the Icelandic countryside on horseback. We ride on excellent riding paths and along the meadows around Eldhestars farm Vellir.


Please note: The tour is suitable for all levels of riding experience from beginners to advanced. During booking process, we ask our clients to inform us about their riding experience, which helps us to choose the right horse for everyone. Beginners and experienced riders ride together. We always try to tölt as much as possible, but do not gallop for safety reasons. Our weight limit is 110kg(242lbs) and the minimum age is 7 years old.
