Things to Do in Nadi

Nadi International Airport is Fiji's main gateway and sits just 9 km south of the city, making it one of the closest major airports to a town centre in the South Pacific.

The Nadi area was historically a stronghold of Fijian warrior culture, with numerous fortified villages (koros) dotting the surrounding hills before colonial settlement.

Nadi's Sabeto mud pools, located about 30 km north, are naturally heated geothermal springs believed to have therapeutic properties and are free to visit.

The Coral Coast, stretching south from Nadi, is one of Fiji's oldest resort destinations, developed since the 1960s and now home to dozens of hotels and dive operators.

Nadi sits in Fiji's western (leeward) region, which receives less rain than the windward side, making it drier and one of the more reliable sunny destinations year-round.
