Take a private tour with your group to three of the most popular tourist attractions in the South East of England. We will first visit Windsor Castle, a royal residence with hundreds of years of history, then go even further back in time with a visit to Stonehenge. This is a fascinating Neolithic monument aligned with the sun and thought to be a burial place for the ancestors. Finally, we will visit the UNESCO world heritage site of Bath, a Georgian and Roman town famous for its architecture and hot springs.
Our first stop will be Windsor Castle, with the entrance included. See the wonderful, medieval St Georges Chapel, the fabulously ornate, baroque State Apartments and the fascinating details of Queen Mary's Dolls House. If time allows, you might also be able to catch the Changing of the Guards and enjoy a walk around the town of Windsor and view the Long Walk in Windsor Great Park.
Visit the beautiful medieval chapel on the grounds of the castle built during the reigns of Edward III and IV in the 14th Century. Famous for hosting royal weddings, the tomb of Henry VIII and the Order of the Garter.
See this fabulous piece of engineering built for Queen Mary in 1921 with running water, electrical lighting and a library of 170 books.
A great place for a dramatic photo of the castle. This is a long tree-lined road leading to the castle gates, going through Windsor Great Park.
See Britain's most famous Neolithic Stone Circle standing on Salisbury Plain, and learn about the mysteries of this monument that has been standing for 5000 years. Entry to Stonehenge is included.
Our final stop will be the City of Bath, named after its ancient hot springs, with its Roman Baths, gothic Abbey and famous Georgian architecture. Sitting on the River Avon this is a beautiful city to wander around and soak up the atmosphere.
The famous ruins of the Roman Baths built here 2000 years ago on the site of the only hot springs in the UK. In ancient times this spot was known as Aquae Sulis or Sulis Minerva, named after the Celtic goddess Sulis and the Roman goddess Minerva. Entry to the Roman Baths is not included but can be purchased at an additional cost.
Stroll around the calming and beautiful medieval abbey, or take a tower tour to see the vista across Bath, in the abbey where the first king of all England was crowned in 973 AD.
You will see the Pulteney Bridge and Wier as you drive into Bath crossing the River Avon. This was built in 1774 by Robert Adam in the fashionable Palladian style. It was commissioned by wealthy landowner Francis Pulteney.
The Royal Crescent is one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in the UK. Great for photos and used frequently as a location on the hit show Bridgerton.
