Our Sacred Valley VIP Tour with Maras Moray will start with a drive to Chinchero.
Chinchero is a beautiful Andean village. Locals here are known for handicrafts and have been practicing this till today.
Chincheros was more like a summer palace to Incas.
The church that stands overlooking the village was built on the remains of a palace by Spanish conquistadors.
Here you will be having a guided tour that would give you a complete overview of Chincheros and the history and culture.
Our next stop will be in Maras, home to the renowned salt terraces.
These salt terraces of Maras have been in use since Incan civilization and the method they use today is just as it used to be during Incan civilization.
They let the natural spring water flow into these geometrically shaped terraces. When the water evaporates it leaves behind crystals of salts which are then manually scraped out.
Salt of Maras has a distinct taste and texture and has a bunch of nutritious value.
From Maras, we will be visiting Moray.
Moray is home to the circular-shaped agricultural terrace.
These terraces are known to have different temperatures at each level. The Incas used to experiment with the growth condition of crops in different temperature zones here.
Moray was more like an agricultural laboratory to Incas.
We will stop in Urubamba for lunch. This is a buffet lunch with wide options including vegetarian dishes.
Ollantaytambo has held its significance since the Incan civilization.
This served as an administrative capital to Incas. Ollantaytambo houses two archaeological ruins. We will be visiting the principal complex which was a fortress.

Our next stop will be in Pisac.
Pisac is a distinct site of the Sacred Valley of Incas. The archaeological complex of Pisac is massive and is just second to Machu Picchu.
Pisac is also famous for the artisanal market.
Craftsmen from the neighboring village set their tents in the main square of Pisac every Sunday and sell their crafts.
After touring the iconic market of Pisac, we will visit the archaeological complex for a complete guided tour.
After touring the archaeological complex of Pisac, we will start our journey back to Cusco. We will drop you off at Plaza Regocijo, a block away from Plaza de Armas.
