The tour starts with the discovery of the multi-cultural Poble Sec neighbourhood before we climb up the hill of Montjuïc – Barcelona´s green lung. During the walk, you will escape the bustling city and will be able to take amazing panoramic photos. You will also encounter Barcelona´s famous cemetery and learn about the Olympic history of the city and the World Fair of 1929.
Poble Sec - located between the sea, the old town and Montjuïc – has a chaotic layout along the slopes of the hill with many 19th century houses. This gives the quarter a distinctive atmosphere that is nowadays very popular among young people. We will stroll through some streets, discover the famous Calle Blai and learn about the best Pinchos bars.
Afterwards, we climb up the hill and enjoy amazing photo moments. We will take a less touristic path through gardens and around the Castle on the top that leads to one of the best-kept secrets in Barcelona. (We will enjoy a drink there when open.)
We will visit the famous cemetery before crossing the Olympic Ring. Learn more about the Olympic history before starting our way down along the exhibition zone of the World Fair of 1929 to Plaça España.

Barcelona never stops surpising you. This was our 2nd visit in the city and were wondering how we missed this jewel of a neighborhood. LIvely bars and theaters, busy streets and fantastic artist's nest. The cloudy day was ideal for the walk up the hill to the castle and our guide was very well informed and passionate. What a treat!
