The Gastronomic Experience in Puerto Almanza will make you an expert cook of local dishes, based on fresh fish from the Beagle Channel and seasonal fruits.
Our local chef will teach you how to cook and feel active in the kitchen, while you learn about local varieties such as spider crab, seafood and other typical products of Ushuaia and Puerto Almanza.
This is your opportunity to experience local cuisine and cook your own menu with friends or family.
We begin our adventure for the day from the Kaitek Viajes offices, where we will pick up our passengers and then begin the excursion.
We cross Av. Maipú visiting the Monument of the Malvinas and the National Pavilion.
From there we will continue to the Old Beban House, the Paseo de las Rosas and the House Museum of the city.
Our path will take us to the Upper and Lower Missions, ancient settlements of the first white settlers who arrived in the middle and early last century, from which we will have a view of the entire front of the city.
After arriving at the emblematic sign of Ushuaia, we will continue to Plaza Cívica October 12, knowing the old and current Government House, neighboring historical houses, and much of the history that has been forged in front of the Beagle Channel.
Once our walking tour is finished, we will take our vehicle again to begin our gastronomic experience. You will become an expert chef from the end of the world, since thanks to the expert hand of the local chef Luis Bernal you will learn how to cook local gastronomic delicacies. After class, you will taste a tapas of local products, accompanied by a delicious wine.
