Rome was not built in a day? Well, you will discover why. A whole month would not be enough to discover all the wonders that Rome has to offer. However, if you are short on time, this tour might be perfect for you!
You will leave Florence early in the morning, taking a high-speed train that will transport you to another world in just 1 hour and 15 minutes. You will see with your own eyes why Rome is defined as the Eternal city: here, every stone, every column, and every building echoes the ancient Roman times.
Unlike Florence, Rome’s historic center is incredibly extended so a hop-on hop-off bus will definitely do the trick! You will admire all the highlights that Italy’s capital has to offer without stress, such as the symbol of the city, the majestic Colosseum and the Circus Maximus, the elegant Piazza di Spagna as well as the world-renowned Vatican city, home to one of the most beautiful museums in the world, the breathtaking Vatican Museums.
Finally, get lost in the heart of the city itself, discovering the quaint squares of Rome, such as Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori and do not forget to throw your coin in the Trevi Fountain to make sure you will soon come back to Rome! Last but not least, enjoy a typical Roman lunch in one of the picturesque tiny restaurants of the Trastevere district, the most authentic neighborhood of Rome! A cacio and pepe tonnarelli shall not be missed here!
You will be back in Florence safely by the end of the day, maybe tired but very happy!
Please note: This tour does not include hotel pick up and drop off service. This means that you will have to arrange your transfer on your own in order to reach the designated meeting point and start the tour.
