Welcome to Athens.
During this amazing half-day tour you will see all the most popular sights and experience the best parts of the city. But I will also show you the special things that make Athens great. 4 points of Athenian history unfold in your eyes in just 5 hours.
Starting with the unification of the city of Athens in 1300 BC, advancing to the Roman Empire in the years 300 BC to 270 AD, continuing to the Ottoman Empire and the mosques of the Monastiraki region, and ending in the victory of the Allies in the second world war where the united states of America, led by Truman, helped the country financially.
We can adjust the schedule, duration, and activities to meet your needs. Please let us know of any special requests you have.
Itinerary
During your half-day tour, we will visit Acropolis Hill and the surrounding monuments like Propylea, the Temple of Athena Nike, Erechteion, Karyatides, and The Parthenon.
Afterward, we will drive to Mount Lycabettus, the highest point of Athens, and then to the Panathenaic Stadium, the first stadium of the first Modern Olympic Games.
Driving down to the Presidental Palace, the Megaro Maximou, the Hellenic parliament, the National Technical University of Athens, and a drive through the narrow streets of Plaka full of charming homes.
We will visit the Temple of Zeus, the biggest temple ever built in Athens, and the Athens National Archaeological museum.
Then we will drive to the Monastery of Daphni, which is protected by UNESCO and was built in the Byzantine period. And lastly, we will go to a local restaurant for a meal, which we will provide.

Monastery Of Daphni
The Daphni Monastery was founded towards the end of the sixth century A.D. on the site of the Sanctuary of Apollo which had been desecrated by the Goths in 395. The Sanctuary of Apollo was built in the Ionic style using the thinnest and smallest columns. The columns stand on a base with an ornamental scroll at the top. A few of the columns of the temple have been preserved. One of the four Ionic columns of the ancient Sanctuary of Apollo remains at the site, as it was re-used in the Daphni Monastery. The other columns were removed and taken to London by Thomas Bruce, Earl of Elgin (of Elgin Marbles fame). The columns, column bass, and column tops from the Sanctuary of Apollo are currently in the possession of the British Museum.

- We can pick our customers up from wherever they want inside the region of Athens.
- If the pick up is from the Airport or from the cruise dock please provide all the details to the operator after from the pickup.
- If there is a Strike in The city Center or a special event that effects the tour,the tour may change start time or ITINERARY under the instructions of the operator and the agreement of the customer
- Please provide as much as possible contact details to the operator even after the booking
- Please mention to the operator if there are Health restrictions
- If the booking will start from Ath Int Airport the time of the tour start to count fro the pickup of the customer,so do not stress your self in cases of Delay of flights
- If the tour is combined with a transfer the Maximum Luggage ( american size 32kl) can be no more than 3 and the start time of the tour starts at the time of the first pickup eg :( There is a customer that buys a tour starting from Cruise terminal but first he/she wants to be transferred to his Hotel to do the check in and then to start the tour. ) if the customer wants extra services than the ones that paid for,the operator will charge him extra and the payment will be done to the driver in cash or credit card.
