Our morning Athens bike tour starts from the biggest pedestrian street of Athens, located a stone’s throw away from the Acropolis, where you will have a short introduction about the tour’s schedule.

Equipped with a comfortable bike for a relaxed and enjoyable tour, we will begin the exploration of the city, passing by the new Acropolis Museum.

During the tour, we will make short stops at all the main highlights of the historic center of Athens, such as the National Observatory, the Ancient Greek cemetery (Kerameikos), Thission neighbourhood, the Ancient Greek Agora, the Roman Agora, and Athens’ Orthodox Cathedral. We will give you time to enjoy the view and take nice pictures.

We will pass by the scenic neighborhood of Plaka and the local market for souvenirs and small gifts. Next, we will ride through the maze of the National Gardens, the best place to enjoy nice and shady trails.

Then, it’s time to cycle towards the Presidential Mansion and get impressed by the ceremonial unit of the Presidential Guards. The trip through charming Athens will be continued with a short stop to the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games took place, and to Zappeion Hall, a magnificent Neoclassical building.

The morning Athens bike tour memorable experience will end in front of the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch, which is one of the best photo shooting spots in Athens.

  • The tour leader(s) will accompany the participants and supervise the itinerary, ensuring the programme is carried out as described on our website and/or agreed in our specific offer.
  • The tour leaders are not licensed tour guides explaining the meaning, destination and history of ancient and modern Greece.
  •  All participants should sign a waiver/disclaimer before the tour starts and verify that they are in sound medical condition, able to cycle etc.
  • During the tour, we will not enter any archaeological sites unless otherwise specified in special private tours.
  • Participants should know how to ride a bike on a public street in order to join our tours.
  • We reserve the right to refuse participation to clients we believe are not capable to join the group for safety reasons.
  • Our fleet consists of bikes, suitable for participants over 160 cm height. Smaller bikes can be provided ONLY upon request.
  • The local provider reserves the right, to make reasonable changes in the itinerary, where deemed necessary.
  • Any changes to the itinerary, date, destination or the number of participants may incur an extra fee.
  • No amendments will be made on confirmed bookings.
  • Tours run in all weather conditions, rain or shine.
  • For all participants who do not want to join the tour because of the rain, we offer a 50% refund or the option to join another tour according to our availability.
  • We reserve the right to postpone the starting time of a tour for up to 60 minutes.
  • We will offer a full refund, in case a bike tour is canceled due to extremely bad weather conditions (storm - snow) on the specific date.
  • Safety is our No 1 priority, therefore:
  • The size of the group is limited up to 12 participants per tour leader.
  • The bike tour is designed on car-free zones, pedestrian areas and bike lanes.
  • We have a permanent staff of well-trained tour leaders. We have a dedicated team for our bike maintenance.
  • We strongly suggest to our guests to wear a helmet during the tour, although it is not mandatory in Greece.

Experts

The guys that escorted us were pure experts. We had an amazing ride, saw incedible places and monuments and the coffe break was a nice addition. Biking around the Acropolis was the highlight of our trip! Next time we visit Greece, we will try this again for sure.
